About Me

I bought my camera a few months ago and have been learning and respecting the art of photography ever since. It's a battle and a privilege to capture moments. The right moment, with the right lighting, with the right equipment, with the proper understanding to appreciate what is in front of you, easily deserves a smile and a sense of accomplishment.

My Gear

Camera BodyNikon D7000 16.2 MP (DX)

Nikon Lenses: 35mm f/1.8 AF-S
                         50mm f/1.8 AF
                         80-200mm f/2.8D ED EF

Tripod: Vivitar 60"

Backpack Case: Canon Deluxe

I LOVE my gear. The D7000 is an amazing camera (click the Link to read all the info. about it) and it even allows me to record video in 1080p at a high frame rate. Future youtube videos SOON! As for my lenses I would have to say that  my 80-200mm is my favorite. All my shots with this lens are crisp and clean. The low aperture allows for great light at all lengths of zoom; this lens I use the most. The Vivitar tripod is an inexpensive heavy-duty alternative to the ultra high priced tripods on the market. The only downfall to it is its weight; its not a hiking tripod, more of a studio-set it up and leave it there-tripod. BUT its weight is what I personally like. It feels stable and secure. I feel safe setting my equipment on it. My case/backpack. It does its job, lol, it holds my gear and keeps my hands free. The canon backpack is a small buy vital part of my collection.

Next Lens on the "Wishlist": AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED
